Alfred T. Giuliano, CPA, CIRA, CFE, CDBV

Fred is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Certified Distressed Business Valuator (CDBV). He is a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Panel Trustee for the District of Delaware. He has served in matters as a State Court Appointed Receiver. He graduated summa cum laude from Widener University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in business management. He has extensive experience in the real estate, construction and food and beverage industry.

Fred has over thirty years of experience in insolvency and reorganization matters and has represented trustees, unsecured creditor committees, secured creditors, and debtors-in-possession. He has testified frequently as an expert witness in bankruptcy and civil litigation matters.

He has been appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a trustee for the New Jersey Lawyer’s Fund for Client Protection. He also served as the Treasurer and Vice-Chair of the Fund.

He sat on the tax committee of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the insolvency and reorganization committee of the NJSCPA and on the District IIIB panel of the NJ attorney fee arbitration system.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Restructuring and Insolvency Advisors, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the New Jersey Bankruptcy Trustees Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees.

Edwin L. Miller, CPA, MS Taxation

Ed is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey. He graduated from Rider University with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, and has earned his Masters of Science in Taxation from Widener University. Mr. Miller is lead partner for the commercial accounting practice and provides accounting, tax and consulting services to numerous firms in the construction and service industries. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Patrick T. Mohnacs, CPA, CFE

Pat is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He graduated from St. Joseph ’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Pat is the lead partner for the commercial accounting practice and provides accounting, tax and consulting services to a variety of industries. Pat oversees six staff members in the tax compliance group and he is the quality control administrator for the firm. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He served as a committee person for the Auditing and Accounting Standards Committee and the Compilation and Review Subcommittee for the New Jersey Society from 1992 – 1997.

Donna M. Miller, CPA, MBA, CDBV


Donna Miller is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor. She holds a Masters in Business Administration degree from Widener University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Rider University. Ms. Miller is a manager in the firm’s bankruptcy, litigation support, business valuation, and forensic accounting areas. Prior to joining the firm in 1999, Ms. Miller was employed for sixteen years with Lehigh Press Inc. as a corporate accounting manager and controller. Her background also includes industry audit experience and banking operations. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors.

Jean I. Abbott, CPA, CIRA, CDBV

Jean I. Abbott is a certified Public Accountant with an MBA from Monmouth University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Ms. Abbott was employed by the Claridge Casino Hotel, located in Atlantic City, NJ for twenty-one years, where she served in executive management positions, including as Chief Financial Officer, as a member of the Board of Directors and as Secretary to the Board. Ms. Abbott teaches graduate and undergraduate accounting and finance courses at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, located in Pomona, NJ. She is the Director of the Atlantic Cape May Chapter of the New Jersey Society of CPAs and a member of the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors. She serves on the Finance and Allocation Committees of the United Way of Atlantic County and as the treasurer and a member of the board of Community Mediation Services. Ms. Abbot resides in English Creek with her husband, Andrew.

Colleen M. Kelly, CPA, MS Taxation

Colleen Graduated from Saint Joseph’s University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and summa cum laude from Widener University with a Masters of Science in Taxation. She worked for Touche Ross & Company in both the auditing and taxation departments in Philadelphia. Her experience at Touche Ross included audit engagements as well as individual, estate and trust work. Following Touche Ross, Colleen worked for Cigna Insurance Company in the Property and Casualty Division. Her responsibilities included preparing and supervising the preparation of the quarterly tax provision for approximately one hundred property and casualty companies. Colleen joined Giuliano, Miller & Company in December of 2003. Her responsibilities have included work with the bankruptcy group, as well as individual and corporate compliance, estate and trust work and tax research.

Colleen is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.

In Soo Soh, CPA

In Soo graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and attended a graduate program in Taxation at the University of Akron, Ohio. In Soo joined us in December of 2004. She has approximately fourteen years of public accounting experience with extensive experience in individual, partnership, trust, and corporate tax. Prior to joining the firm, she had worked as a tax manager with the Deloitte & Touche Korea office. She was in charge of overall expatriates tax consulting and compliance services for US and foreign multinational companies and their expatriate personnel. She dealt with international taxation, tax relief treaties, totalization agreements, tax equalization, personal tax planning and company expatriate policy and cost analysis, as well as preparation and review of US and Korean tax returns. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. In Soo is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Ohio and is in the process of applying for reciprocity in New Jersey.

Lauren Mastalski, CPA

Lauren is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania. She graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. Lauren worked for both Arthur Andersen and KPMG prior to joining Giuliano, Miller & Company, LLC. Her experience includes auditing in the software and technology industries and the small business sector. Lauren joined Giuliano, Miller & Company, LLC in October 2006. Her focus at Giuliano, Miller & Company, LLC is within the firm’s bankruptcy, litigation support and forensic accounting areas. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Lauren resides in South Jersey with her husband and daughter.

Robert L. Edwards

Rob received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Northern Arizona University, and has successfully completed competition and strategy courses at the Harvard Business School and has over 25 year experience as a financial and executive officer with large international public companies and start-up companies. These have included publicly traded companies with Synova Healthcare Inc, FMC Industrial Chemical Group, Asea Brown Boveri and K-tron International, Inc. His financial and operational experience has included industrial equipment manufacturing, large long term capital projects, chemical, medical device and pharmaceutical industries with responsibilities for operational improvements, acquisitions, divestitures, raising capital in the form of public equity and debt, investor relations, SEC compliance and filings, and SOX implementation. Also, he has experience in the areas of turnaround, pre-bankruptcy, and post petition bankruptcy. Rob has served on the board of Kingsway Learning Center for the past 15 years, member of the Greater Philadelphia Senior Executive and resides in Cherry Hill, NJ.
